For whom is There NOW NO MORE condemnation?  It could be YOU

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, ² because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you^[a] free from the law of sin and death.  Romans 8:1-2

Its not that you were caught with your hand in the cookie jar.  Its that people, your conscious, and your record are constantly reminding you of your mistake.  I mean constantly, unceasing and unrelenting.  Change the scenario to any of your worst mistakes, and the outcome of mental and emotional dourest remains the same.

This is the impact of condemnation on your life.  Defined it is “to judge worthy of punishment or pushing down under expectation”.  7526.  When we violate God’s law of perfection, we open ourselves to condemnation.  We judge ourselves unworthy.  We become our own worse critic.  Even our Enemy the Devil is known as the accuser of the brethren.  We agree with him so often seemingly “knowing” that our actions have disqualified us.  At least that is what we believe.

But NOW, yes right NOW we have been freed from condemnation.  Even though we are forgiven, that is not enough to remove condemnation.  The key to the NOW is location.  At times I ask my wife where she is located while travelling.  She tells me a specific place, but in reality she is still 5 minutes from that place.  She is telling me what she thinks I want to hear and where she would like to be at that moment.  But that is not her current location NOW.

Condemnation is held at bay, because we are in Christ Jesus, NOW.  He receives ALL of our condemnation upon himself.  All of the slander, puffed up snobbery, and disdain is directed toward Him.  We are fully hidden from its insidious grip when we are behind and in Him.  He takes each and every blow that we deserved.  So it is very important that we live, breath and move from being hidden in Jesus.

The work of the Spirit sets us free from condemnation and helps us remain hidden in Christ.  When the devil accuses you, take a walk with him to the Cross.  Let Jesus do the talking for you.  You may need to repent.  But the flow of total and complete forgiveness will be outstanding.  To you Jesus will say, “Where are your accusers?  Neither do I accuse you, Go and sin no more!”  Hallelujah for the joy to be in Christ.

Father, thank you that NOW there is no Condemnation in Jesus.  Thank you that forgiveness is a complete package.  Forgiveness is so complete that you remember our sins no more.  As far as the east is from the west, you have removed our sins.  Thank you for extending your love so generously in our behalf.  In Jesus Name, Amen
