9 If you declare with
your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will
be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified,
and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As
Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[e] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same
Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be
saved.” Romans 10:9-13 |
As I think about these
verse I can’t but remember an old hymn by Ralph Carmichael
|
The Savior is waiting to
enter your heart
Why don't you let Him come in
There's nothing in this world to keep you apart
What is your answer to Him
Why don't you let Him come in
There's nothing in this world to keep you apart
What is your answer to Him
Refrain
Time after time, He has waited before
And now He is waiting again
To see if you're willing to open the door
Oh, how He wants to come in
Time after time, He has waited before
And now He is waiting again
To see if you're willing to open the door
Oh, how He wants to come in
If you'll take one step
toward the Savior, my friend
You'll find His arms open wide
Receive Him and all of your darkness will end
With in your heart He'll abide
You'll find His arms open wide
Receive Him and all of your darkness will end
With in your heart He'll abide
To receive Jesus is an easy
task, but it will cost you your life.
His life in exchange for yours.
You must give up lordship of your own life and give it to him.
Will you pray with me?
Father, if you are who you
say your are, please save me. God into
my life and make me clean. I no longer
want to be in control of who I am, I give it all to you. Thank you for making me new. I am confessing you as Lord with my mouth and
I believe that you died for me in my heart.
Thank you for coming in. In Jesus
Name, Amen.
That is the best decision
you have made for all of eternity. I
would love to hear if you prayed that prayer.
Blessings
