Do you have the ear of a good disciple and the tongue of the
wise?
The Sovereign LORD has
given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He
wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.
This is my prayer for you
and me all year long. Trust that God
will rivet this promise and desire to your heart. God can awaken you each morning, speak to
your spirit, and then allow you to speak words of life to those that are
weary. And then God repeats this
interaction for us every day. Anointed
words originate in hungry, listening and responsive ears. Let him who has ears to hear, hear what the
Spirit is saying. What is He saying to
you? Your words today can change a life
for eternity. Preach boldly and walk humbly.
